Kids and CIT Program (Counselors in Training)
We have a very high retention rate of kids as first year campers that see the program through and become Counselors in Training (CITs) the following year. In fact, we retain about 65% of the first year campers for 4-5 successive years and into the CIT program.
We average 45 kids and 18 staff, and our CITs usually enter the program as they're entering high school. A wonderful mentorship program, CITs help with the day-to-day work of running camp, oversee crafts, help manage cabins and keep the fun running smoothly. For many of our campers this is their first "job" and they come back every year until graduation (and beyond!).
